The Breacher Exothermic Cutting System Backpack – Special Projects Operations (S.P.O.) is a rigid, modular carry solution designed specifically to support single bottle exothermic cutting systems. Originally engineered to carry the S.P.O. exothermic cutting torch, the pack allows operators to remain fully mobile and hands free during high risk breaching operations.

The rigid construction and adjustable mounting system provide excellent stability and retention of the thermal cutting system during demanding activities such as vessel boarding, search and seizure (VBSS), fast roping, ladder climbs, compound infiltration, search warrant execution, and urban room clearing. The pack is designed to keep critical equipment secure while allowing rapid access when time and control are essential.

Comfort focused features include padded shoulder straps and a padded kidney belt to help distribute weight during extended carry periods. The backpack enables quick deployment of the thermal cutter and immediate access to cutting rods when required. Two integrated nylon sheaths are mounted to the internal board, providing secure storage for up to four spare exothermic cutting rods.
