The 9V Thermal Initiator Holder is a compact, purpose built ignition aid designed for use with thermal cutting rods utilising steel wool ignition. Engineered to support a range of mission specific applications, it provides a controlled, hands free solution for initiating thermal cuts quickly and safely.

The holder features a retractable lanyard that allows fast ignition of thermal rods while automatically retracting for secure stowage when not in use. A magnetic base enables the unit to be attached directly to the target surface, allowing operators to position the initiator for efficient, hands free lighting during cutting operations.

Designed for low light and no light environments, the holder supports Cylume stick illumination in various colours, including infrared options for use under night vision devices. Its small, lightweight, and compact form factor makes it easy to integrate into existing breaching or cutting kits without adding unnecessary bulk.

Constructed from 6061 aluminium, the 9V Thermal Initiator Holder is built for durability in demanding operational environments. The battery and chem light stick are secured using Allen head set screws to ensure reliable retention during movement and use.
